Location & SCHEDULE

The City of Waco’s Fourth on the Brazos celebration takes place annually on July 4 at Touchdown Alley next to Baylor’s McLane Stadium, located at 1001 S. MLK Blvd., Waco. Gates open at 6 p.m.

Admission

Fourth on the Brazos is FREE, thanks to sponsors like H-E-B, TFNB and the City of Waco! 

The H-E-B Fireworks

The fireworks will be shot above the river between Touchdown Alley and the Ferrell Center and will be visible along both sides of the river, the Ferrell Center and from areas around Baylor Campus.

Livestream: If you're unable to attend in person, you'll still have the opportunity to watch the H-E-B Fireworks Extravaganza from your home. Our friends at KWTX have partnered with us to livestream this year's display. On July 4, tune in to KWTX-TV, KWTXtra, or their Facebook live.

Parking

Free event parking areas include:

  • McLane Stadium Lots 2 and 3. Vehicles enter Lots 2 and 3. Lot 1 is reserved for Baylor Club guests.

  • Handicap parking in Lot 4.

  • Ferrell Center

  • Texas Ranger Hall of Fame parking lot

  • East Campus Parking Garage

  • Parking lots along University Parks Drive and Baylor campus

  • No parking is allowed on street medians

Paid parking available at:

  • Brazos Parking (across from the stadium)

RIVER / BOAT ACCESS

Boat ramps are located upstream at Brazos Park East. Both motorized and non-motorized boats are welcomed. Please note, the fireworks fall out zone must be cleared at 8:30 p.m. 

Food & Drink Court

Food and drinks will be available for sale onsite from local food trucks. The 2026 vendor lineup will be announced soon.

Coolers with drinks and snacks are allowed. No glass bottles or containers. Bag check stations located at entrances. 

Security & First Aid

Officers from the Waco Police Department and Baylor University provide event security.

Entry points will have a bag check for coolers, backpacks and bags.

All guests attending the concert at Touchdown Alley will be required to go through magnetometers.

Clear bags are required, in an effort to expedite the entry process and for security purposes.

EMS will be located at the entry to Touchdown Alley.

First Aid and lost child locations are under the Children's Area Tent.

Restrooms

Restrooms are located around the event perimeter. 

CLEAR BAG POLICY

To ensure the safety of guests and expedite the entry process, clear bags/purses are required for entrance into the event interior at Touchdown Alley. Some examples are included on the image below for reference. Exceptions will be made for diaper bags, waist bags and wallet-sized bags or clutches. All bags are subject to inspection. Please note there are no bag size restrictions or limits to the number of clear bags you can bring in.

 

What to Bring / PERMITTED ITEMS

Lawn chairs, blankets, shade umbrellas, beach shade canopies (canopy stakes must be smaller than 12 inches)

Cash / credit card (Most vendors accept cash and credit. An ATM will be onsite)

Sunscreen / bug spray

Coolers

  • Water, sodas and beer will be available for purchase, but you can also bring your own

  • No glass bottles or containers

  • All coolers subject to search

  • A water station will be available at the First Aid tent

Strollers

Cameras and video cameras

Clear bags/purses are required for entry into the event interior. All bags are subject to search.
